About this Service
A self-leveling concrete overlay in the Lockheed Martin area is a cementitious leveling pour applied to uneven industrial slabs to produce a smooth, flat substrate for protective coatings, epoxy systems, or resilient floor coverings. It is aimed at manufacturing floors, equipment assembly areas, quality control spaces, and warehouses where flatness and finish readiness matter.
Work starts with staged surface prep — diamond grinding, degrease, and targeted crack filling — followed by primer and the leveling pour; written estimates state coverage per bag, target pour thickness, and cure and walk-on windows so work can align with production downtime. Clay-based soil and high indoor humidity mean moisture testing and cure planning are required.
The expected result is a uniform, finish-ready surface that reduces pinholes and improves coating adhesion, with a documented flatness check at handover; self-leveling overlays do not replace structural slab repair or deep subgrade remediation, which must be addressed separately.
